AWARD has announced the daily co-chairs for the 2018 Creative Leadership Course, taking place from Sunday May 27 until Tuesday May 29, 2018 at Sydney's Ovolo Hotel.

Paul Reardon, chief creative officer, TBWA Melbourne
Paul has received awards in every major international advertising award show – a tally including two Grand Prix awards in Cannes. He has worked across pretty much every category there is – from big beer brands to even bigger banking brands, automotive to armed services, and from the country’s best selling chocolate bar to the nation’s largest private health insurer.
Tara Ford, executive creative director, DDB Sydney
Tara joins DDB from TBWA where she has worked for 5 and a half years. She was promoted to Creative Director in 2015 and was Australia’s representative at this year’s Cannes Lions on the Promo and Activation jury. Tara has worked at advertising agencies around the world including TBWA (London) and Wieden and Kennedy (Amsterdam). Overall her work has won in excess of 200 awards, including the famous and ongoing GAYTM campaign for ANZ Bank, which was also named ‘Best Direct campaign in the World for 2014’ by the Big Won and #1 ‘Best of Print/Outdoor/Design for 2014’ by Creativity-online.com. She is an active mentor to young creative talent through the Cannes “See it Be it” and Young Lions program, Miami AdSchool, AWARD School and is one of the panelists at the inaugural 3% conference in August.
Scott Nowell, Co-Founder, CCO at The Monkeys; Director Maud Design
Scott started The Monkeys with Mark Green and Justin Drape in June 2006. In 2012 they also launched Maud along with David Park. In ten years they’ve grown to 120+ employees. Scott has written and produced long form content for Telstra and Ubank, and script edited and produced the ABC Documentary Mambo: Art Irritates Life. His comedy drama :30 Seconds was nominated in the 2010 Logies, the AFI Awards and The Australian Writers Guild Awards. He’s helped Australian brands succeed with campaigns for Telstra, Parmalat, Ubank, IGA, Ice Break, Oak, Blackmores and MLA’s awarded Australia Day campaign. A judge of numerous award shows, he’s a speaker at the Caxtons, Semi-Permanent and AWARD.
Exclusive only to The Communications Council corporate members, the 2018 AWARD Creative Leadership course is chaired by creative legend Warren Brown and will feature talks by international guests, including W+K co-chief creative officer Susan Hoffman.
Back for a third year, this three-day residential is Australia’s only custom-designed course for senior creatives who have the ambition and the potential to lead a creative department or agency, and for Creative Directors looking to sharpen their leadership skills.
