This week AWARD presented its Work Behind the Work events to sell-out crowds in both Sydney and Melbourne.

This week AWARD presented its Work Behind the Work events to sell-out crowds in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Hosted by sponsor Facebook, the events brought the industry an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into some of Australia's finest creative campaigns and the teams involved in bringing them to life.

AWARD Committee Member Ant Melder welcomed guests to the Sydney event. Speaking to The Communications Council, he said: "There’s an old maxim about the mundane nature of legislation: 'Laws are like sausages. It’s better not to see them being made.' This brilliant session proved that when it comes to great ideas, the opposite is true.

"It was an absolute pleasure to spend time really getting under the skin of some of the region’s very best work from the last year. The presentations were smart, thorough and entertaining. And the packed audience clearly took great inspiration from seeing at close quarters the epic (and often pretty bumpy!) journeys that led to greatness," he added.

The campaigns, which were all highly awarded at the recent 40th AWARD Awards, were:

AutoAds - presented by Cameron Bell and Sam Dickson, Creative Directors at CHE Proximity

Stop Your Boobs Playing Their Own Game - presented by Charlotte Marshall (Strategic Planner), Shannon Duhig (Senior Content Director), Chloe Banicevic (Senior Art Director) & Barbara Humphries (Creative Director) at The Monkeys

Project Revoice - presented by Asheen Naidu (Executive Creative Director), BWM Dentsu & Emad Tahtouh (Co-Founder & Managing Director) at Nakatomi.

Myer Christmas Bauble - presented by Pippa O’Regan (General Manager) and Stephen De Wolf (Executive Creative Director) Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.

42 - Presented by Johnny Corpuz (Head Of Connections Strategy) and Adam Slater (Associate Creative Director) Cummins&Partners Melbourne.

Enter Asahi - Presented by Navin Arunasalam (Account Director), Hugh Gurney (Copywriter), Joe Sibley (Art Director), The Monkeys Melbourne.

AWARD would like to thank all of the speakers for their inspiring presentations and also thank our sponsor Facebook.
