AWARD School - Australia and New Zealand’s preeminent training program for aspiring Creatives, Copywriters and Art Directors - have released the 2016 brief for New Zealand.

Running for more than 30 years, AWARD School is highly competitive and follows a strict selection process based on demonstrated creative potential. The 12 week intensive course will accept applications until Friday 3 June 2016, with successful applicants notified by Friday 10 June. The opening lecture will take place on Monday 27 June.

The program will be headed in Auckland by Brett Colliver, Creative Director, DDB Auckland, whose recent work includes Samsung’s Smart Phone Line, Nimble “Unexpected Happens” and DB Export Brewtroleum. Brett’s been awarded at all of the major global shows, including Cannes gold and nominations at D&AD, as well as Team of the Year at AWARD in 2014.

Brett commented: “AWARD School can be a life-changing experience for those hoping to break into the creative industry. It not only provides access to a broad range of leading creatives, but the weekly briefs and tutorials give a real insight into what agency life is like. It is extremely rewarding but equally as demanding. We’re looking for enthusiasm, commitment, but most of all, originality and a thirst for ideas. Even if you have never considered advertising, this could be the route towards an exciting new career.”

Successful AWARD School students will receive guidance from local industry experts, who will share their learnings and insights in weekly lectures and tutorials.
