AWARD announces daily co-chairs for 2019 AWARD Creative Leadership

Warren Brown back as Course Chair; Leo Premutico confirmed as international guest speaker. 3-day residential course to run in Sydney from 14-16 April 2019; member registrations now open.

Back for a fourth year, The Communications Council and AWARD are pleased to announce the AWARD Creative Leadership course is open for registrations.

Chaired and curated by advertising legend Warren Brown of Gutthink & Partners, this 3-day intensive residential is a crucial stepping stone for any aspiring creative leaders.

For the first time, co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Johannes Leonardo, Leo Premutico, has been named as international guest speaker for the popular course.

“This course is designed to prepare and empower those that are ready to become a catalyst for the success of those around them,” Warren said.

Adding: “We have a fantastic line-up of co-chairs and speakers, including Leo Premutico who I’m delighted to say is joining me in this year’s course.”

An Australian native and 1999 AWARD School top ten student, Leo Premutico, has twice been featured in Creativity's 50 Most Influential People and his Tide ‘Talking Stain’ commercial was nominated as one of the top twenty Super Bowl ads of all time. In 2018, Johannes Leonardo was ranked in the top four of America’s top 10 advertising agencies by Ad Age.

“I've been fortunate enough to learn from some great people. Without them I wouldn't have been given the opportunity to become a Creative Director or start a company at a young age,” Leo said.

Adding: “The Creative Leadership Course aims to pack all those experiences into a bite sized few days in order to accelerate and grow tomorrow's creative leaders. I’m honored to be part of it. And the chance to do so alongside Warren Brown, who was kind enough to give me a shot in advertising in the first place, makes it all the more special.”

AWARD Chair and Saatchi & Saatchi Australia CCO Mike Spirkovski will chair day one of the course; while DDB ECD Tara Ford and The Monkeys Co-Founder and CCO Scott Nowell have been confirmed for days two and three of the course, respectively.

Three intensive days on site feature a series of modules and interactive sessions, including small workshops, panel discussions, role plays and Q&As with inspirational speakers.

The Creative Leadership course is proudly presented by AWARD - Australia’s longest-standing and most respected professional development programme for creatives.

The course is exclusive to members only. For registration information, or to discuss corporate membership, visit the AWARD Creative Leadership course page or call (02) 8297 3800.
