NATIONAL AWARD SCHOOL WINNER TO VISIT FACEBOOK HEADQUARTERS IN CALIFORNIA

Facebook Australia, as the official partner of AWARD School, will fly the 2018 National AWARD School winner to Facebook Headquarters in Menlo Park, California. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with Facebook’s creative agency ambassador group will be announced on the 7 August 2018.

A Super Jury will choose a winner from the top student in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA. State AWARD School Graduation Nights will occur on 26 July 2018.

Itinerary

2018 AWARD SCHOOL TOP STUDENT PRIZE

ABBREVIATED TERMS & CONDITIONS

Starts 9/4/18 & ends 12/7/18. Divided into 5 Promotional Stages (1 per State). Entry only open to 2018 AWARD School Students who: a. participate in Course in their applicable State in the manner required; b. submit their final portfolio by the due date; & c. are able to travel to & remain in Menlo Park, California for 3 nights during period to be determined by Promoter. To enter: a. participate in Course in applicable State in the manner required including but not limited to attending lectures, tutorials and submitting final portfolio by the published due date below. Each State will have its own judging by the date set out in table below at ‘State Winners Announced’. The Students judged as the winners from each State will be eligible to have their portfolio judged by an international panel of leading Executive Creative Directors by 7/8/18. The winning Students from VIC, SA, QLD & WA will be flown to Sydney for 1 night for the 2018 AWARD School announcement of the Top Student on 7/8/18 in Sydney. Prize: 1 x travel prize to Menlo Park, California for 3 nights during period determined by The Communications Council valued at AUD$4000. Includes 1 x return economy airfare to Menlo Park, California, 3 nights’ accommodation, return airport transfers. Top Student responsible for all additional costs not expressly stated. Top Student solely responsible for ensuring entry into California, USA at own expense incl. ensuring necessary passport & visas, travel authorisations incl. an ESTA & travel & medical insurance (incl. providing certificate of currency to Promoter’s satisfaction at its sole discretion) prior to travel & if required on or by date nominated by Promoter. Total max prize value: AUD$5000. Top Student is representing AWARD and must conduct themselves in responsible, courteous & friendly manner at all times. By submitting portfolio, students grant to AWARD & The Communications Council right to use portfolio for purposes of marketing & promoting AWARD & The Communications Council in any manner & any media whether existing now or in the future.
